Well, Jessica has been a bit of a grizzly bear this past couple of days - more griping at bedtime, which has given us a bit of sleeplessness. Having said that, she's been fine during the day, and guzzling milk like nobody's business.

Changing the subject, I had my first German lesson at the University Language Centre last night. I joined the post-beginners class to try to formalise what I've picked up over the years visiting Austria and Germany. It was in at the deep end, since the majority of the class members had done two terms from the course textbook already; so we started yesterday on p128!

It was quite hard work, but really enjoyable to exercise some underused language grey cells. Last week, when talking with Ashley about his new job working with Rob for their German-owned company, I recommended the course to him, and he's joined up too, so we're going to be study-buddies :-)
