Well, gardening is a bit of a misnomer, because what's actually happening is the digging up of around 50 m² of garden, to be re-modelled via the medium of patio'n'herbs.

We've commissioned Don, our builder neighbour, to do the graft, and he's managed to fit it in pre-bump's arrival. So, Monday morning saw the start, with the first foundation trenches for the herb garden's retaining wall. So far, the weather's been about 70% dry, so building has been able to progress. We've still got to finalise our decision about paving materials this week, which I guess makes a change from nursery planning...

On that front, I've ordered and today received the cot mattress. So, bump won't have to sleep on wooden slats
